It’s Thirsty Work for Little Zuma

Without water none of us can survive. No organism, from you, to me, all the way down to the little annoying bitey friends that live in my fur. It sustains us all and according to various studies, it has been estimated that water levels worldwide will drop to 40 percent capacity by the end of this century, which makes the issue a big threat to the sustenance of humanity. Conserving it is as important and the vessel we keep it in.

Each year, millions of tons of single use plastic go to land fill or end up in our oceans and most of this waste derives from plastic cups and water bottles. The world is changing rapidly, and we all have to do our part to be more sustainable and take regenerative approaches to the way we work, play, and drink our water. We all have a part to play, little me included and that’s why I asked my team at ZTD HQ to come up with a couple of water bottle designs that are reusable, and in the essence of me, just plain fun to be around.

We call them our water bottles for life. Just like a dog, they are cute, loyal, will follow you everywhere and come in lots of varieties and design. We have kicked off the range with four styles of water bottle in many designs which work perfect for adults, kids and teens and they all feature…….yep ahhhhh, me! Here’s a little something about them all.

Our eco-friendly insulated water bottle is easy to clean and durable. Featuring a stainless-steel spill-proof screw-on cap, this premium double wall insulated stainless steel bottle keeps your drinks either hot or cold. Comes in five designs and perfect for work. Don’t you think?

Add flavour and personality to your water with a single move – with our “Love Island” style infuser water bottle. Twist the base off to access the infuser and add fruits, tea leaves, or anything you desire to enhance the flavour of your water. On the top, you'll find a twist-on lid with a flip-top drinking sprout for a seamless drinking experience. This infuser is excellent for using at home, during outdoor excursions, or at the gym as a sports bottle. Plenty of colours with two summer vibing designs, you’re guaranteed to find your perfect bottle.

Stay hydrated while out on adventures, at the gym, at work, or anywhere your day takes you. This sport bottle with 13.5 fl.oz capacity is available in 9 colours over two designs to choose from. Its lightweight and compact design, it makes the perfect outdoorsy companion or even the school lunch bag to keep the kids hydrated too.

Made for grabbing beverages on the go, this double-wall insulated acrylic cup will keep cold drinks cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 hours. The cup, the plastic lid, and the straw are all BPA-free and comes in five different designs. My hooman ordered one of these to try out and she made an unboxing video especially for you.

Look. Here it is!.

We love these new water bottles and we know you will too. And remember, they are not just for Christmas; they are water bottles for life. 😉

BACK TO SCHOOL

Showering in Old Faithful, Yellowstone

Is it back to school or back to work for you? We’ve had a wonderful vacation time and had the opportunity to see various parts of the world. Now the mornings are beginning to feel colder and there’s a hint of autumn in the air and it really is time to get our heads down and get back to work. Or should I say Mummy needs to get back to work, while I lay around all day staring at her. Just making sure she is working hard enough while cracking the occasional whip.

Holding up the Leaning Tower of Pisa

There’s lots coming up over the next few months and after my recent re brand and new look there’s new people added to Team Zuma the Dog. We welcome Sarah Camp from Weird Lime who is now our marketing, PR and licensing agent, along with Ruth Leonard from Hello Communication who is also working on Team Zuma. I am personally looking forward to them spending most of their waking hours thinking of me and I’m looking forward to working with them.

This brilliant team have years of experience working with well-known character brands and bringing them to market and their first big mission will be representing Zuma the Dog and Brand Licensing Europe, to be held and London's Olympia on the 9th to 11th October 2018. They have some fabulous ideas for licensing going forward that I’m sure all of you in the business will love to see.

My suggestion (and take that as more of a cheeky Zuma nudge (possibly with teeth)) 😉 is to make your appointment to see the team sooner rather than later.

See you there!

Much Love

Back to School

So, this week is Back to School week. I don’t know about you, but it has certainly been a very long summer break. Master C certainly needs to be back amongst his friends and Mummy really needs to get back into work mode and get her focus back to ME and all things that surround ME! Ten weeks is really far too long for the schools to be closed in my opinion.

I spent a good chunk of my time hang out with my favourite trainer, playing at his farm and being generally quite spoilt, while Mummy and Master C gallivanted across the globe in search of inspiration for new styles and Mummy tells me she even wrote a new Zuma the Dog book. Can’t wait to start seeing that come to life.

Mummy said she was sorry that I couldn’t come with her and was sad I couldn’t experience all the fun they had in Brazil and England. She took stuffed Zuma with her to make up for it and it does look like he had a great time. To be honest though, I know I had the best time where I was and as much as they enjoyed seeing lots of new things and making friends with strange new creatures, rolling around in a dusty old farm, digging up rotten old balls and long walks on the sunset beach is a much better holiday for me.

Apparently Stuffed Zuma got really good at photo bombing and here are some of Mummy's snap shots to prove it.
Relaxing and enjoying the river in the Rainforest of Brazil

"Look Mummy, this is where they grow Bananas"

"Don't you think this would make a great location for a photo shoot for Zuma the Dog?"

The locals are so friendly

Super fun ride on the cable car. Mummy and Daddy zipped lined down this.

Awesome view of Balneario Camboriu from Unipraias Adventure park

We loved all the animals and birds at the Botanical Gardens in Joinville

A romantic trip through the Rain Forest by train

So many palm trees at Rua da Palmeira

I am relaxed and ready to face my public and enjoy what is ahead for Zuma the Dog. New school term equal new adventures for us all. Bring them on!

Much Love
