JEALOUS? WHO ME?

 

So, it looks like Stuffed Zuma had the time of his life while he was on his travels with Mummy and Master C. Nope! I’m not jealous at all. Jack Russell’s don’t know what it feels like to be jealous. We just don’t have it in us! MMmmmmmm

 

Don’t get me wrong, I had a wonderful time playing at the farm, but they don’t need to rub it in that I got left behind with all their posted instagram photos. I guess in Mummy’s mind she sees it as a way to gain more inspiration for her books and clothing line and I do believe she has a few things up her sleeve……………….. I feel another trip coming on.

While she gets back into the swing of work mode, lots of phone calls and meetings are taking place. I know she has some ideas and really wants to get my Zuma the Dog brand back into the UK high street. I believe a plan is being hatched and with any luck I can tell you all about it next time my paws are ready to type. It’s been super hot here this week and the ground has been really too hot for walking on. In need my walkies, but my little paws have gotten just a bit too hot for my liking, which is why it’s not so easy typing today.

 

Now if you don’t mind, I’m off to poop under Mummy’s bed to get her back for not taking me with her and don't forget to check out all our social media from our office daily antics.

Zuma's Summer Holibobs

Summer has arrived and we are most definitely ready for our holidays. Mummy and Master C are taking little stuffed Zuma away to Miami and Disney and because I can’t fly too far I’m going on my holidays to the farm down the road. I’m looking forward to spending most of my time playing with the other farm dogs and keeping busy all day. There are so many activities to do I´ll never get board.

SMALL DOG TO GAIN MORE LEGS IN THE UK MARKET

Zuma the Dog set to grow with new  business strategy.

Glastonbury based Start-up Children’s wear brand has set a new strategy to concentrate on its home market and grow sales through expanding its team of sales reps and distributors.

Trading since 2010 entrepreneur Samantha has singlehandedly developed Zuma the Dog’s brand philosophy and style, creating sales and recognition worldwide. The owner and creator of the small clothing brand has spent so much time focusing on sales outside the U.K, that she admits, “sales here have slipped”. Her new strategy is to now take on more team members to get the brand back into the UK retail market and into the hearts of the public, where it belongs.

SMALL DOG MAKING BIG WAVES IN THE CHINA

            Zuma the Dog testing the Chinese retail market

 

Glastonbury based Start – Up Children’s wear brand has launched their first campaign on Kickstarter to raise investment and brand awareness to trial their clothing line in the Chinese market. They were approached by the Chinese retailer Oriental Chushuai six months ago who love their European style and want to stock the brand in their stores from September. This requires some funding for the small brand, so have turned to Kickstarter to start the process moving forward.

Samantha Morgan-Bertish founder of Bertish & Company Ltd and owner/creator of Zuma the Dog knows the brand would fit perfectly into this market with its quirky European style. “With the right funding, investment and partners we can see the brand grow quite nicely, with the vision to have its own stand alone stores”.

Exciting Times for Zuma the Dog

It may have appeared in recent months that we have been quiet on our social network sites, but there is always something happening behind the scenes, at home and with business. Mummy is always heading off here and there. Meeting for this, meeting for that, but lately I see something big is happening and Mummy seems more excited than usual.

She has explained that some people in a country called China has taken a real interest in ME! Yay! GO ME! But I think she is referring to my clothing line. She has been talking at length with them for many months now and they would like to launch the brand in the Chinese market starting with their own stores and act as our agent to grow Zuma the Dog nationwide.

How exciting is that!?

This is such an awesome opportunity and with this will come some hard work and Mummy will now need to look at funding and investment to make this happen and she is even looking in to taking on a partner to complement the skills she already has. This will mean a real change for Zuma the Dog, a step up in the business world and a chance to step out on the worldwide market and become a real competitor in Children's clothing.



To get the ball rolling she has launched a Kickstarter campaign and hoping you will all like to have a hand in helping our little brand develop and achieve its potential in growing into the household name we know it can be.
